Who we are and why do we exist?
Hillock Global Enterprise was founded in 2016, by a young millennial who after highschool was unceremoniously thrust into the job market. From an extended family of 7 and brought up by her grandparents in cosmopolitan Nairobi, it was more of survival for the fittest through a treacherous job market that only accepted degree qualifications as the minimum entry requirement for any entry level job. She knew she didn’t stand a chance, because her grandparents couldn’t afford to further her education.

At Hillock, we don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to sustainable and inclusive livelihood opportunities but tailed approaches that align with the specific accessibility challenge within the community anchored in sustainable economic development.
