Phillippa Omolo is the Founder and Executive Director of Hillock Global Enterprise, where she leads the organization’s vision of creating sustainable pathways to decent work and economic empowerment for underserved communities. Inspired by her own journey of overcoming barriers to education and employment, she founded Hillock in 2016 to ensure that young people are equipped with the skills, opportunities, and partnerships needed to build resilient livelihoods.
With extensive experience in youth employment, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, and program development, Phillippa has successfully led initiatives that strengthen workforce readiness, support small enterprises, and promote inclusive economic growth. She is passionate about building collaborative solutions that empower communities and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
Robert Wahome is a sustainability and impact-driven leader with over a decade of experience in strategy, organizational leadership, project management, and social enterprise development. Throughout his career, he has led transformative initiatives that empower entrepreneurs, strengthen organizations, and promote sustainable development across diverse communities.
With expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), business model innovation, strategic planning, and performance management, Robert provides visionary leadership to Hillock Global Enterprise. As Board Chair, he is committed to strengthening governance, fostering strategic partnerships, and guiding the organization toward creating lasting social and environmental impact.
Charles Nderitu serves as the Project Manager at Hillock Global Enterprise, bringing over 15 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing community development initiatives. Prior to joining Hillock, he served as the Economic Strengthening Technical Advisor at AMURT Africa, where he led economic resilience and livelihoods programs that strengthened vulnerable communities across Kenya.
His expertise spans project planning and management, economic empowerment, livelihoods restoration, youth development, women’s empowerment, emergency response, WASH, and organizational capacity building. Charles has successfully managed donor-funded programs supported by organizations including USAID, UNICEF, UNHCR, the European Union, FCDO (UKAID), and other international development partners.
He is passionate about delivering sustainable, community-led solutions through strong partnerships, evidence-based programming, and effective project management that creates lasting impact.
Amina Mahmud is a dedicated Programme Associate with extensive experience in coordinating community development and health initiatives across Kenya. With over eight years of experience, she has successfully designed and implemented youth empowerment, health, and community engagement programs that improve livelihoods and expand opportunities for underserved populations.
Before joining Hillock Global Enterprise, Amina served as Program Coordinator and Health Lead for the Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN) East Africa at Swahilipot Hub Foundation. In this role, she led cross-border youth initiatives, developed innovative health skilling programs, and helped create employment pathways for hundreds of young people while strengthening collaboration across the health sector.
Her leadership also extends to humanitarian response, having coordinated relief support for over 10,000 households and facilitated community-based advocacy on gender-based violence. Amina is passionate about empowering youth and women through inclusive development, strategic partnerships, and sustainable community solutions. She holds a Diploma in Community Development and Counseling and is currently pursuing studies in Development Studies.
